Dry-docking projects

Dry-docking projects, both intermediate & special surveys, need to be efficiently managed to safeguard the interests of the ship owners, bareboat charterers, and investors (financiers & banks).
The process of dry-docking refers to when a vessel is taken to the service yard and brought to dry land so that submerged portions of the hull can be cleaned and inspected. This work is both preventative as well as a regulatory requirement within the industry. Ships are dry-docked once in 5 years whereas ships older than 15 years are dry-docked once in 3 years.
The whole of the ship is docked on dry land and then it is used to check, service, and inspect the submerged portion of the ship, which has been in the water for years.
This method of Ship Dry-Docking involves objective identification. The shareholder assignation, inclusive description, and project completions are the key processes for the identification of the objective.

Our services lead to significant cost-saving to ship owners and banks as we complete projects within the planned budget on time, without compromising the quality and safety of the vessel.

Project Management: Monitor and control-estimate project scope, quality, time, and cost
Monitor project’s actual cost against the project budget and determine the variance
Review project scope variance and estimate additional efforts by the shipyard
Keep track of spares, stores, and services consumption
Prepare daily project progress reports and variances with rationales
Support and guide ship staff and ship manager to lead the successful completion of the projects
